We recently shared details on our custom training course we created for UK’s Food Standards Agency (FSA) diverse team of regulatory scientists (toxicologists, microbiologists, radiation specialists and statisticians) and policy supporting staff.
We were pleased to hear the scientists who participated in the course have used their new skills and knowledge to conduct a quantitative risk analysis that will likely inform national policy in the UK! In fact, some of the analyses that the participants performed under EpiX’ guidance during the training were key parts of this analysis.
As Dr Iulia Gherman, Senior Microbiological Risk Assessor for FSA UK, says: “The “Quantitative Risk Analysis work done on the “Risk of campylobacteriosis from low-throughput poultry slaughterhouses” study is a direct result from learning and guidance from EpiX Analytics online course Quantitative Risk Analysis in Food Safety using R. Thank you! I also used the skills learned in this training as an opportunity to help others in my team learn R and do a bit of modeling.”
If you are looking to broaden your skills and deepen your knowledge, our classes and mentoring will help you develop risk analysis and modeling skills that are directly applicable in real-world situations.
If you are looking to ground an important decision in robust analysis and evidence, let’s start the conversation.
